Dear “Sex After the Family”
I appreciate the sensitivity of your question and suggest that you go to your Doctor and have a complete physical. This would be to rule out any physiological problems.
From my understanding, if a woman’s ovaries are removed this will have an impact in an adverse way upon her libido. However, that can also be medically treated if you choose to pursue that route.
Perhaps more importantly, your life in the Family FF’ing has most certainly had an impact upon you. Having been raped twice and having sex with so many different men, the physical act would become devoid of any true emotional and spiritual intimacy. Over time that becomes normalized and you are “programmed” to experience only the physical act.
It is also important to realize that being raped twice you have been traumatized. No woman experiences such a massive psychological assault on her person and leaves it unscathed. This touches the very core of your person, and even though you may have “willingly” participated in FF’ing at times, it still undermined your moral foundations, your sense of value as a woman, and has undoubtedly created many painful memories. Trauma does not go away over time, it goes underground. Thus, I would suggest that you talk to a rape/trauma counselor.
