It's mysterious, but I finally figured it out. I've been looking into this since we switched over to this software.

Here's the deal...

When you reference the photo as you write the message it is usually in your cache, so you can see it. In fact, when I've seen the failed photos, I've right clicked them, then copied the url into the location box on my browser, LOOKED at the picture, then gone back to the message and it is there! .

Anyway, what it boils down to is some of these storage services don't let you reference the images with a tag the way we do from this message software. They do that to keep their traffic down, since they can't show us an ad this way!

Some actually do work okay, and those are okay to keep using. For example, I've copied photos from CNN and such and they go right in with no problems.

If you go ahead and use the uploader program here, at least we know it is on this server and it can be viewed. In fact, if you wanted, you could reference the photo from other servers since we do not filter out that kind of call.
