Fran and I love the south. We pretty much work our butts off in the summer saving so we can take the winter off in the south. We had a few monkey wrenches thrown into our south plans this year though. We had a son have a pretty serious bowel op so we had to stay back for that, as well as for his recovery from that. And then our daughter asked us to stay till her custody case ended and what does she do on the final court day - sleeps in and has it thrown out of court and back into the lawyers hands - grrrrr. And then my sister in law dies and no sooner do we get her burried, I call my 92 year old uncle and don't get an answer. After breaking down the doors I find him lying on the floor barely alive. He's in the hospital in critical condition and won't pull through. I can tell. I was the only one around to care for him for the past few years as nobody else cared to. He is a filthy hermit. I installed a shower and a hot water tank 4-5 years ago but he has a hording compulsion and filled the shower stall with junk - ha! I'll have to arrange and host his funeral and by the time all is done, spring will be here. I won't have a desire to go south - more ha ha.
