You know, we redeemed the time while those things fell apart all around us and finished up most of the interior of our house. It's looking GREAT! And we've managed to whether the storms and still come out praising. Yes, spring is just around the corner and we were talking, just today, that if we couldn't get away for a quick trip south, we could always throw the camper on the truck and head out to the Pembina Valley for the hawkwatches that are going to be happenning there soon. The camper will keep Fran warm and out of the wind while she reads and I watch. We'll get a motel for the night and fool around and then we'll do her day, visit all the rose greenhouses in that area, go for dinner, get another motel, etc.....

Spring thaw will happen in a few weeks, maybe, depending on the weather. It'll be mid May before the trees start to bud though. That's still quite a ways away. The light levels are incredibly cheery and getting stronger everyday, bouncing off all the snow that's laying around. I love it - the light.
