When we still had the boy at home and the big red was the only red, we took a trip to Arizona in December. We stayed at the Grand Canyon and then went to look at the Indian ruins also. We were hiking along the trail that led up to the ruins themselves and there was a huge snake sunning himself right across the trail. He took off in a hurry when we showed up. I don't know why. Maybe it was the screaming, jumping, loud noises that scared him off. Oh yeah, and the kids were loud too. (Just kidding.I wasn't scared.)
