72 squash plants!!! People really are extremist aren't they? hahaha...I used to go to the extreme too but like you have learned moderation in planting seeds. It's the reaping and storage part that taught me moderation because it requires more labor than sowing. I'm sure there's a parable in there somewhere. And thanks for the compliment on my garden...I'm into organic growing. And those are purple hull peas... oh so good....very earthy. It's a good time of the yr to plant snow peas...now that's a treat...the deer like them too and I like venison so maybe I'll plant some for them outside the fence. BTW, I captured a 2 ft long coral snake the other day in the garden. So just a warning to all who enjoy God's creation to also watch for the " snake in the grass" Peace to those who want peace.
