This is the problem with IP banning. You can end up banning the innocent. In fact, I think the message people get when they are banned reflect this.
For example, we have 25 or so computers at my office, but they all go to one router that has the public IP address. So, it might be me writing a message it might be one of 24 other people on 24 other computers hooked to the same router.
We have also been very confused about messages coming out of Barney's IP, but then when I visited Laurelhome, I noticed there was one computer, and a long line of people, EX, CM, FM, etc waiting to use it.
