Mavis and I got back yesterday from couple of days in the place of peace and rest. No we hadnt gone to heaven yet but we did see a few familiar faces we hadnt seen in a while.
Barny mc-ed a coordinators meeting which had been scheduled for two days of meeting which turned out to be actually a whole day with breaks inbetween.
Songs of inspiration and short word readings preceded and lots of laughter and tons of good food.
I would like thank Barny for getting us together and David C. for giving directions and helping all to find the correct location. I would like to thank David C. and Mary for making it possible for Mavis and I to be a part of it all since we could not in our present situation afford to put in on the cost of the rental of the place we were invited to.
Also a lot of credit to Mary for all her hard work in supplying and shopping for the food and the preparation put into the making of the delicious meals served.
Woody cooked a mean spagetti that deserves credit too and Barny cooked our breakfast one morning, thanks Barny.
All were a blessing in their own way even the cheeping of the little guiney hens who were thankful to Shebuah for saving them from a bad fate and came to their rescue in the nick of time and discovered she was not quite yet ready for motherhood although for a time they were her bosom babies.
Even Moofie helped keep the cattle in their place and letting them know in no uncertain terms if they were out of line or too close to the fence near the house.
Joseph was quite enlightening with the different charts he had made for us to look at the progress of the NDN. And in between Joanna translating for Barny at various points we all had a pretty good time with the meeting of the minds.
I saw some interesting defensive moves and holds by Cancion that would definitely come in handy if attacked by an aggressor which I think impressed all of us.
Meshach and Jemviah were witty and comical and made us laugh. George was as always a good inspirationalist and quite funny at times too with gentle humor.
Woodie and George together give some good harmony. Cancion played some heart touching songs also to add to the mood. Beautiful Shebuah also put forth some new ideas for NDN that have yet to be tested but sound like fun.
Thank you David C for going after me when I got dinged out and drove down the road past the point I was supposed to turn in the road to the house on the day we were supposed to leave, in fact it was already check out time.
Mavis and I want to say thankyou to David C. and Mary in particular but to Barny and Joanna for taking time from their busy schedule to come all the way to Oklahoma and everyone else who could come and visit too. With Love Michael C. and Mavis
