I used the same routine that changes character combinations into smiley faces :)

I put in a custom configuration into this forum only that takes certain strings and changes them into other words.

The reason at the time was that one person in particular (the former Network Host) seemed unable to stop using this forum to discuss that particular group. The whole concept of this forum was to give ex-members a place to talk about anything except that group. We thought it was a sort of humerous way to remind him (and the rest of us) that the topic was off limits here.
