Tonight I was watching an Indiana Jones film with our son and wanted to explain the humor to him. I'm always trying to teach him sayings, meanings of words and so on.

Anyway, this was so dumb I had to even roll my own eyes after I said it.

It was a typical Spielberg situation and so I said, "Phil, this is what you call 'tongue-in-cheek'. That means: humor that you can't take seriously."

I heard it come out of my mouth and watched it hang there for a few seconds till I got it. (I think).
