,,if your problem is during post, then it's not software related,,it's probably some hardware issue,,either the motherboard, or something else.
Only one virus effects post,,that's the "CIH" virus,,and it doesn't do what you've described..
But as to installing Housecall,,he asked me how you were "trying putting them in different places", as you said. Were you using the "browse" function, or trying to write the path yourself?
