I have been working like a mad person for weeks, (months actually) on my gourd art work because I have a gourd festival coming up. I am going it alone this time because Laurie can't make it. This week I set up the mock booth in my living room to see if I had enough stuff and also to figure out how I wanted it all to look. The name of my booth is 'Children of Gourd'. I find the name extremely funny.

Can you see the Jack O Lanterns on the tiered shelf? Then there are some apples which are lidded bowls. Most everything is an animal bowl of some sort. Mostly ponies but a few bears too. I have tried some artsy carvings but only a few because they take so much time.

Anyway, here it is. I'll let you know how it goes. 2 weeks to go. yikes! painting, painting frantically, paint......
