Well, we know that some of her behaviour is from the several strokes that she had in the past, part is from her disfunctional childhood and the resultant defensive behaviours she adopted, the rest is just wacko stuff that we are just now recognising. I think if we band together, stand firm and definitely show her that we are acting out of love, she might come to trust us. Then again, maybe not...but I will still do what I need to. I have to protect her from her leech 'friends' and also from herself. She can't afford to make mistakes and hope to learn from them. She doesn't have enough time left to regroup if she majorly messes things up. I am willing to let my sister play the good cop and let me be blamed for the bad cop. Unbeknowst to my mother we will be working together.

The ultimate goal is for my Mom to live out her days on her precious pony farm which was her lifes dream from childhood. How she perceives me isn't my big concern. I just want her to be safe, happy, healthy and having fun.
