Especially for the little red who is starting jr high or now commonly called Middle school. I find it very hard to imagine my baby going to 'big' school. She was just here at my desk expressing her fears of not knowing where to go in the morning. I told her that I would take her to homeroom and after that they will help her...(and all of the other hundreds of new kids).

I wonder what this will mean for the little red and for us. I hope she makes lots of new friends and has a fabulous time in this new school. It's got to be better than my jr high in the 1960's with the race riots and everything. People threw rocks at the bus windows when we were being brought to school. So I sincerely doubt that sort of thing will happen tomorrow.

I can't believe summer is over already.
