NewDayNews Crossfire

Somebody help me!

I don't quite know how it happened but my preferrences for this board reset themselves. When I try to go in and set them myself they never "take". As a result every message on the board is tagged "NEW" so that now I have 229 "New Messages". Anyone got a clue???
