Linda if your husband doesn’t know how and has no directions with the hot water heater then I think I would let your polish man do it. Although you might want to ask him if there is any guarantee with his work.

It isn’t as difficult as you might think, but it can be if a person doesn’t know how to do it and honestly it could be dangerous, if you don’t know what you are doing.

One thing to make absolutely sure of, no matter who does it, is make sure it is filled with water before you connect the electricity.

If the plumbing is already connected to the hot water heater and that is a big if, then basically it is a matter of filling the hot water heater and connecting it to the electricity. Then setting the dial for the water setting. And you are finished.
