Bobby like I tell the different builders I work for, I do everything, except paint and get on a roof. Drywall such as tape, float and texture, I really don’t mind so much, but ceilings can be a bit hard on the arms and the neck.
In fact I have a small texture job tomorrow, here in Texas 99.9 % of the new homes use what is called a “Splatter Drag” after you tape and float it smooth then you come back and shoot watered down mud on and wait for it to set for 15 or 20 minutes and very lightly drag a broad knife across the peaks of the splatter, thus a Splatter Drag.
I do tile as well, so if you run into a snag maybe I can help. Steel Tub? AHHH I hope you don’t try carrying it by your self or maybe I am thinking of cast iron.
