Hi. I heard you know a lot about wood floors etc. I live in a place that is an old vintage house with hardwood floors that have a laquer or something on them that scratches easily. They are not in the best of shape but look okay. So far, I have been cleaning them with Swiffer for wood floors. That makes them look pretty good. Since I don't own the place, perhaps that is my best bet, or do you know of something that can be applied that lasts longer for covering up scratches? Also I have a very sturdy dark rough wood deck. What is good for cleaning that? Lovin' my new home.
One other thing is that we are considering getting ceramic tile in the kitchen with the landlords permission as there is a vinyl one there now that is tacky. What is a reasonable price for a kitchen the size of a small bedroom-for tiles and installing? And what are some tiles that are reasonable? Do you know a website to look at for this? Thanks
