All I can think is that the player in your car might be older, or must might be very sensitive.
I'm having trouble with the CD player in my suburban right now. It worked well for years playing CD's I burned myself. But, then it started ejecting them. Now it won't even play a commercial CD. I had it fixed, then it started doing it again so it's back at the shop again.
