Maybe I'm wrong, Joseph--But I do think XP has a DOS environment.
I still think you can even include whatever batch file at startup, or even create an autexecute.bat file in the root directory.
I've never done anything much with DOS, except to notice that you can still double-click dos programs, and they run.--At least they did under FAT32.
Have you worked with DOS inside NTFS?
