Well it hijacked my internet settings and set a new telephone number for the internet connection, using the name of my internet service provider as a cover. It was only when Iglimpsed the dial up connection box dialling out one day and thought ...hang on , that number doesnt ring any bells with me' that I realised something was arong. However i thought I had caught it before it made any calls !! the number it was dialling was 006831531 and one of the names i noticed in the pop ups was Global access. My computer may not be truly free of this plague. when I open the internet explorer page , I tend to get a second page opening automatically which tries to go various pages such as
Telephone company say I am responsible for the calls. i enquired why they would pay money to crroks who plant viruses on computers and they say they have too as the calls are international!! Someone is getting rich at my expense and I want to find out who...so i want to find out who this telephone is registered to and who owns so I can invite myself to dinner.
