I'd appreciate any advice you might have on putting your life's experiences into a resume. My husband needs to write one, but we have been at a loss as to how we should go about it.
He joined the cult at 19, didn't do college or university. He was the country's translator for over 20 years, that was his main profession, as well as selling tapes and posters. Later he was in leadership as a CRO, and for the past 9 years has been a freelance translator/interpreter and done other odds and ends.
What sort of things do prospective employers look for in a resume, what is important to include.
How would you word something as 'leader' and 'tapenesser' on a resume.
How do you get around the fact that you really have no certification nor degrees to back you up?
Help!!
Thank you so much!
