I have a wireless optical mouse. I can see from a light on the receptor part that the mouse works.
The problem is that after making a mouse click, the computer refuses to accept any other mouse input for as long as 15 seconds. And if I get impatient it blocks up completely. I have a trackball that is also branched and works and I can't use it during the lapse period either.
