Hi!
Thanks for the info. Today I'm off so I can tweek around my computer.
My games were working in Windows.. not DOS... and they were working perfectly until about one month ago... in using Windows XP!!!
I bought a new computer last December and happily found that my DOS-based games still played... but now they don't.
What happened??? Why did the error message suddenly start?
I know that I've had several system updates installed... you know the ones that come automatically from Windows... maybe one of those made a change???
I also tried the "compatibility mode" with my games and that didn't change it.
so, I will work on it later... after my nap.
