Good for you Joe, most people don’t do that. I believe that is true with all professional trades. There are always crooks, which even give the honest people a bad name. I believe the Auto Repair industry has got to be the worst and because of a few crooks I have no trust in auto repair shops.

I got my oil changed one time at one of those quick-change oil places. I watched them the whole time and I never saw anyone change the oil filter, I even asked the attendant as I was leaving “Did you put in a new oil filter?” and he said “Yes” so on my way out I stopped and looked under my truck and sure enough there was my OLD oil filter, so I turned around and told the manager who was very apologetic and did put on a new oil filter. What got me more than anything was that the guy flat out lied to me. So needless to say I am very wary of auto shops, etc.
