I guess it depends on your dog, but Sweety chose my bed! As she was used to sleeping there and felt the safest there.

All I did was get a box, lined the bottom with plastic and taped it down (so as not to smother the pups) and then put a bunch of cloths and towels over that. Just be SURE there are no loose strings anywhere. A breeder told me her pups strangled to death on the strings.
