I've been studying different sites about the Isis soundcard and it seems there are some serious bugs along this line. A lot of other people have the same problem. I followed one procedure and got the sound to work for the internet but not for the recording studio.

But even that disappeared when I reinstalled the program.

Apparently there is a special procedure for reformatting the hard disk with "format c:/g" command and then installing windows with only the graphic card installed and then installing the soundcard in a very particular way before installing the other drivers.

Otherwise there is some sort of hidden conflict that cannot be worked around.

I'm about to just give up on it and get something new.
