There are different versions of drivers for different OS. If you haven't got a driver that's compatible for the OS you are running on your PC, then it won't install.
Do a look up on Google for the correct driver, download it and install it. You may have to try several hit and misses until you get the correct one. Your best bet would be to go to the manufacture's web site and try to find a driver that is compatible with your OS and the specific sound card that you have.
