Digital film input needed.

I have two questions.
Numero Uno, I filmed a gypsy playing a violin. A real classic. Totally out of key, but wholehearted.
I used my small Canon Powershot A400 and shot the film longways. When I uploaded it to my computer, the picture was at a 90degree angle. How can I flip the picture upright or is 2006 too early for such innovations?
Number Two: How can I put this film online for my friends (i.e. you guys) to see.
