I had the weirdest problem yet with my computer the other day, one of the kids pushed something and suddenly everything was sideways, the toolbar, the pictures, it was like someone took the monitor and set it on it's right end. The mouse didn't work in proportion to the screen, and I had no clue what to do.
Fortunately my dad lives nearby and he assured me that it wasn't a major malfunction or breakdown, but there's actually a setting in the computer to turn the screen sideways like that, though whoever would want to view their monitor with their head cocked to the side all day is beyond me.
Since all my main information and setting boxes are in Japanese, I couldn't find the setting to change it back, but I did manage to find the problem online, so, in case you ever accidentally turn your screen sideways, here's what you do:
Press CTRL/ALT/up arrow one after the other (not simultaneously) and it will switch the direction of your screen.
Now, I dare you to give it a try and see what happens!
