Sometimes if you download one of those players, all of a sudden Windows Media Player will work for the clip as well. I guess once certain codecs are on your system, the other players can use them as well.
I know that's true for DVDs.
I installed a couple of different free players from the web but they wouldn't work for commercial DVDs (I think because of the European System).
Then I installed Power DVD which had all the necessary Codecs and suddenly the others started working too.
For a while when I put in a DVD I had three different players popping up to play it.
