MAcBook Optimizing

Does anyone have a Mac and know how to optimize by defragging or something? I like my Mac book and I find it is as easy as Windows to operate, and so far in the past 7 months haven't had any problem with the blue screen of death like i did with Windows, or freezing up like I did with Millenium and 2000.

You can do everything you can with Windows, and it's quick and powerful, the sound and graphics are excellent, and you don't get
viruses or spyware. I have done checks and haven't found any yet.

But I do have a slight problem with it slowing down at times, and do plan to upgrade the memory, but if ther are any other tips, I would appreciate it. TX
