What do I like? I am hooked on one soap opera, thanks to my husband who had been watching them since he is a teenager. It is the Y and R, and at work, we have discussion on the characters of the show and what is going to happen. Oh well...sometime it is so predictable or even stupid, but we still watch it.
I also watch one show in French for years, it is a soap opera that takes place in a school and it is quite realistic,also it talks about real issues that make the news. It reminds me why I wanted to be a teacher at one point in my life and why I would not like to be one today.
We also rent a lot of movies,but I have to admit that my husband's tastes are a bit more open than mine, I like a good story with good characters but if it is too much swearing or sex scenes or violence, it turns me off.
I also like American Idols or any talent competition and sometime I wish it could have existed in my time and wonder if I would have gone and if I would have been able to take Simon"s comments with a grain of salt. I wish I could read more as I used to but time seems to not be there for that kind of activities. Well, I better stop now. Congratulations on the new board, it will be a lot of fun.
