It's a show that has been on WB for 4 years now. Treat Williams (I love Treat Williams) is a neurosurgeon who moved from NY to a small town with his teenage son and younger daughter after his wife died, fulfilling a promise he made to her. There are a lot of personal family issues they have to work out - the son has a lot of resentment towards his father and adjusting to the new move, etc. Then there are other conflicts - moving into a town that has always had only one doctor, high school issues, the father's grieving in the beginning, etc. I have loved the show since the beginning, and I am so sad that it's ending.
