It's changed a lot just since the last 14 years that I have lived here. I love Tarpon Springs because it reminds me of when we lived in Greece, the little towns along the water. They even have a couple of cafeneons where all the Greek men sit and drink and play cards. Along the water there are all kinds of restaurants and tavernas, and of course, all the tourist shops. But the whole area is really developed now - it's a very nice place to live if you want a flavor of Greece in your life.
It's kind of neat because every once in a while we will get a patient who only speaks Greek and I get to use a little bit of my almost forgotten language skills. I can always understand what they are saying when the family is talking together, but I can't always say what I want to say.
