Hey I just see this post now. I think we started chatting when I was working and had no computer,but discovered the site Sword of the Lord. I was at work, and did not know too much about the internet or anything. So, I thought it would be interesting to find out about the COG. So, I got in touch with the Sword of the Lord,in touch with Marlene who introduced me to Karen. That was 1997,I got my computer in 1998, I could not wait to get on those chats with Karen.
When we met in person, that was a bit ackward for me too,as they invited us over so nicely,I was shy,but nobody would have known, isn't it true Karen??? Fast, we got singing in Karen's car and got to Dunking Donuts. We had a real good time, since we have been phoning, writing,talking about our favorite soap operas,movies, the past, our families,etc...
Karen even phoned me in the car on my way to the hospital not too long ago. She is a great great gal!
