In Response To: The Author (chiming miriam)

I read the book "The Shipping News" and really liked it. She got some awards for it I think. Real good at character development, something the movie failed to do. I'll bet that Brokeback is just the same: good book, indifferent movie. I'll see it on dvd, NOT for $9.50 in a theater!

If Mc Murtry did the screen play for Shipping then the author has a good reason to mistrust him, IMO!
