Anyone watching American Idol?

I think I'm just about burned out watching all of those misguided people make fools of themselves. I think I'll skip the next installment in Texas and just wait for the real competition. Now THAT is much more interesting!

Also, why couldn't the producers give all of the wanna-be's a guide of what NOT to do? Tops on MY list would be the singing style that sounds as if the person just evacuated their bowels. You know, the notes that end with a breathy spasm? It may sound good when the singer actually can SING, but for the talentless it is just a cover mechanism for a bad singing voice.

Another irritant is when the singer tries to hit all of the notes in a chord instead of just singing the one note required. Do you know what I mean? It is extremely popular in the R&B style, but it just sounds undisciplined to me.

How about it...any others have a beef?
