If I want great seats but two together are gone I get two singles and often there will be a couple left in the first few rows. Ron and I saw Joshua Bell, the violinist in the 5th and 6th rows dead center. Otherwise we would have been in the back together. As it turned out the seat next to me was empty and we got to sit together any way. I saw Celine Dion front row center and Ron was a few rows back...his choice. I gave him first pick of what seat he got.
I was second row center for Altar Boyz and Ron was a couple of rows back. I hate sitting way back. I like to see the make up and expressions. Ron was freaked about me spending so much for the Josh Groban seats when the Mandalay Bay offered us VIP seating the next night in Vegas but I couldn't know they would be that great of seats. After we left Ron said it was THE best concert he had ever been to and thanked me for the tickets. And they were free after all was said and done.
Even though it is against policy I think a lot of people who have Ticketmaster connections get those great seats and resell them on ebay. I got my 2nd row center Kelly Clarkson tickets there. Pricey but worth it.
