Yeah, and when ya think about it, it's all about the land and how it affects what the people do and how they do it.
I have the same feeling about the mountains around where I live. There's a certain time of year when the weather pattern brings moisture up from the south and the cumulus clouds build into thunderheads over the local mountains. WE rarely get any rain, but that is the time of year where those in the mountains will get afternoon showers, and sometimes you can even see the rain as a grey curtain falling . That's my sign that it is time to pull out the camping gear and head for the hills.
