Last night the Grouchmate and I decided to go to the local Bijou to see the new Bourne movie since we'd both been looking forward to seeing it. Nights out for us are far and few between and seeing as Kidgrouch was spending the night with some friends we were fancy free, so to speak.

The showing we decided to go to was at 7:30 PM and we left the house in time to get a decent seat. The gal at the ticket booth said that the auditorium was only half filled so we figured we had time to hit the snack bar...WRONG! By the time we entered the auditorium the only seats were six rows from the front, but we figured "Why not?" and sat. About 30 minutes into the film however we both were being suffering from queezy stomachs due to the jerky, hand held type camera work. Afraid we were going to actually get sick we had to get up and leave, but fortunately the price of the tickets was refunded to us. Not so the $17.50 from the snack bar.

What a disappointment! We'll eventually get to see the movie, but maybe not till it comes out on video. Are we getting old, or WHAT?
