Yeah, I was surprised too! I remember seeing the movie at a drive-in with my parents so I think I'll see if I can find it at a video rental place.

Gypsy was an example of a person working in a non respected profession who gained so much notoriety that she eventually went mainstream.

The Burlesque she worked in soon degenerated into a really seedy profession, most of the burlesque houses converting to porn movie houses in the sixties.
