Fanny Brice. The Movie "Funny Girl", with my least favorite actress B.S., is a fictionalized account of another woman who triumphed over adversity...being Jewish. Force of personality and a good strong voice helped her to succeed with humor. Lucielle Ball was a beneficiary of Fanny's humorous style. See the resemblance?
