Didn't want to see it, but my husband wanted to, so I did. Performances wise, really good! Paul Dano who gave a great performance in Little Miss Sunshine surprised me in a double role of a preacher-pastor and his brother. wow, a lot to see in the future for this young actor
Daniel D Lewis deserved his Golden Globe last night as best actor in a movie. Daniel really become his character and this one was something else.
The movie itself depicts things the way they were,the religious man is not better than the ''bad'' oil man, they are both selfish and after gain for themselves.... People were no less evil then than today. If I had liked the theme of the movie I would have appreciated more
