Yea, that WAS apinful. That's why I record it so I can fast forward through the dreadful stuff. Unfortunately Tuesday past I watched live. YIKES! And last night I watched the last 5 minutes just to see who goes home.

One thing that bothers me is when people, mostly the gals, get all weepy when they are booted and THEN they are asked to sing. That's just WRONG!

Amanda took her elimination well, and I think that is because she is very self aware about her talent. Most contestants think that they are better than they really are, most PEOPLE think that their singing is better than it really is. It's a very personal thing, so if the person is not realistic about themselves then it is highly disappointing, even a seems like a personal attack, when they are told otherwise. Amanda was different and I respect her for that.

When Ramiele gets the boot I expect a real sobfest...
