In Response To: Ha! You must have sung in a choir (Oscar)
I have a very small talent and a voice adequate to choir, but not for solo performances. I'm totally amazed at how so many of the auditioning contestants for AI have NO IDEA how badly they sing. I have a pretty good grasp on my limitations as a singer. Even if I was young enough to audition, I wouldn't dream of doing it. That said, I probably sound better than many of those who audition every year. What are people thinking? Can't they hear themselves?
