Believe me, if your friend's daughter goes to a school that isn't just interested in her money, they will tell her the truth. We parents can be so blind when it comes to our children. Many of those people, who audition for American Idol and are told that they can't sing a note, have parents and friends outside the audition room who have told the contestant for years how wonderful they are. Perhaps they, too, just don't know any better. It's hard to believe, though, that they can be so void of any musical ear.
