He wrote a book awhile back and I have read it. I couldn't believe that he would put himself in harms way the way he did. Treadwell had no training whatsoever with bears, according to the book. But he got a bee in his bonnet about them and even though people of infinitely more wisdom warned him that he was being reckless, he paid them no mind. I do think he was deluded about the bears. It's a wonder that he wasn't killed much earlier and too bad that he had to take his girlfriend along. The book is a fascinating read.
