The first thing I ever saw Reese Witherspoon in was a movie called The Man in the Moon. It takes place in the south and she plays the second fiddle younger sister to the beautiful older sister. She falls in love with a new neighbor boy who likes her but then forgets all about her when he meets the older sister. Reese did a real believable acting job, quite touching. She was only about 13 or 14 years old then.
