Well, I saw it yesterday! I am sure that Angelina Jolie will be nominated for an Oscar, but is it because she was outstanding or because of the lack of good feminine perfomances this year so far?
I was not blown away like I was at the beginning of her career in movies like Girl Interrupted or Gina!
She was good, but not GREAT! The movie in itself in a good production, Clint Eastwood is a good director, but would I keep the movie in my collection, will I purchase the DVD, would I see it again, NO!
I had to have my husband wake me up a few times, perhaps it is just the jetlag or is it because I was not that interested!
The story is a true story,we know that! I thought that one scene was particularly interesting when the main character played by Angelina is put away in an insane asylum. I thought I was going to see something as good as in Girl Interrupted, but no!
I liked the scene because of the reminder of what it used to be in these places and there were some good performances by other actresses.
I give two and a half, almost three on five!
